Bus Stop cast

JAMIE CHEATHAM - Dr. Gerald Lyman, Fight Director
Jamie Cheatham makes his MCT debut in BUS STOP. He is the artistic director and head of the acting program at UW-Parkside. He relocated to the Midwest from the east coast where his professional experience includes acting, directing and stage combat/choreography. His collective resume includes such theatres as NY Shakespeare Festival, Actor's Theatre of Louisville, the Alley Theatre, City Opera, Shakespeare Theatre, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Milwaukee Shakespeare and the Kennedy Center. He is a fight director and certified teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors.

ETHAN HALL - Bo Decker
Ethan Hall is a junior theatre arts major at UW-Parkside. His previous stage credits include Fagin in OLIVER!, Hugh Dorsey in PARADE, Tom Collins in RENT and HENRY V. He has also worked behind-the-scenes in various technical capacities at UWP. This is his MCT debut.

Doug Jarecki makes his MCT stage debut in this production. He currently serves as the education and outreach administrator at Waukesha Civic Theatre. An actor, director and playwright he has worked with Next Act Theatre, InTandem Theatre, Bunny Gumbo/Combat Theatre, Milwaukee Comedy Festival and Cornerstone Theatre.

DAN KATULA - Will Masters
Dan Katula returns to MCT where previous roles include Warren in MOON OVER THE BREWERY, Buddy in KIMBERLY AKIMBO, Angus in THE DRAWER BOY and Charlie in DIRTY BLONDE. He has appeared locally with First Stage Children's Theater, Renaissance Theaterworks and Bunny Gumbo/Combat Theatre. He has also worked regionally with Door Shakespeare; The Cleveland Playhouse; GEVA and the Agean Theater in New York; and Monomoy Theater on Cape Cod. His work as a puppet builder was featured in the Milwaukee productions of WHO KILLED SANTA and he built the elephant for MCT's AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS.

BRENNA KEMPF - Elma Duckworth
BUS STOP marks Brenna Kempf's MCT debut. She is currently a junior at UW-Parkside majoring in theatre arts. Appearances at Parkside include Montjoy in HENRY V and OEDIPUS THE KING. She has worked as a teaching artist in the education department at Milwaukee Repertory Theater during the past two summers.

PATRICK LAWLOR - Virgil Blessing
Patrick Lawlor makes his MCT debut in BUS STOP. In Milwaukee, he has worked with First Stage, In Tandem and Milwaukee Shakespeare. In other parts of the country he has acted, directed and/or choreographed stage combat for the Riverside Shakespeare Company, San Jose Rep, Laguna Playhouse, San Jose Stage Company, Grove Theatre Center, Sierra Rep and Shakespeare festivals in California, Utah, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Kentucky and Virginia. He is also an accomplished audiobook narrator, having recorded over 225 books.

JACQUE TROY - Grace Hoylard, MCT Education Director/Literary Manager
Jacque Troy returns to MCT where past appearances include Stephanie in DUET FOR ONE, Becca in RABBIT HOLE and Pam in JOE EGG. Other Milwaukee appearances include MRS. MANNERLY at In Tandem Theatre, THE TEMPEST at Optimist Theatre, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE and VOYSEY INHERITANCE at Milwaukee Repertory Theater, 12 DAYS: A MILWAUKEE CHRISTMAS and WITNESS at First Stage and SPINNING INTO BUTTER at Renaissance Theaterworks. She also serves as the Education Director/Literary Manager at MCT where she produces the Young Playwrights Festival and facilitates the Montgomery Davis Play Development Series.

Anne Walaszek makes her MCT acting debut in BUS STOP. Earlier this season, she worked as a production assistant for MCT's CRIMES OF THE HEART. Currently a senior at UW-Parkside, recent credits include Tilly in MELANCHOLY PLAY, Scroop and Princess Katherine in HENRY V, Gerry in CENSORED ON FINAL APPROACH and Phoebe in AS YOU LIKE IT.
